There is a very nice article from by a blogger from
Senegal about "stargazing" that is in French. I found
it this morning in "Global Voices". I read this article
using a translation program in my browser and enjoyed
it very much..

I am not much good with French language but read this using a translation program in my browser. You remind me of my childhood in the western united states where the sky sat right near the ground and electricity had not yet come to our part of the world.. It was a time when people told stories and reflected under the stars or about the fire at night concerning the days events and the state of the world...

Il y a un article très gentil près d'un blogger du Sénégal au sujet de "stargazing" qui est en français. Je l'ai trouvé ce matin dans "des voix globales". J'ai lu cet article en utilisant un programme de traduction dans mon navigateur et l'ai apprécié très beaucoup. J'ai laissé ce commentaire pour cet article. Je ne suis pas beaucoup de bon avec la langue française mais lis ceci qui emploie un programme de traduction dans mon navigateur. Vous me rappelez mon enfance aux Etats-Unis occidentaux où le ciel a reposé proche droit la terre et l'électricité n'était pas encore venue à notre partie du monde. C'était un moment où les gens ont dit des histoires et se sont reflétés sous tiennent le premier rôle ou au sujet du feu la nuit au sujet des événements de jours et de l'état du monde... Well, now je ne sais plus if I should post en anglais or in French.
Anyway, just to say, I did appreciate your visit en comments. And what you say about your childhood reminds me of on of my trip in the USA. I was quite suprise to realise that while most of the time the image we have of the US is all about cities with skycrapers, you have out ther ethe moste fantastic and large wild territories ...
So maybe out there people are still watching the stars , thinking and dreaming.
